MBBS Course

The MBBS course is a four and a half year period followed by a one year compulsory rotating residential internship. The lasting 12-month internship includes short courses in community health, medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, child health, orthopedics, emergency medicine and various specialties. All these are according to the guidelines of the Medical Council of India. Admission to the MBBS program is based on the candidate marks obtained in the NEET-UG rank held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Career Medical College Lucknow offers in medical stream at the undergraduate (UG) level and admits 100 students for the MBBS course annually.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

Eligibility: 17 years of age or above as on 31-Dec of the admission year. The maximum age limit to Study MBBS course is 25 years. All Higher Secondary School Students with 10+2 in science stream including biology or bio-technology along with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible(In case of SC/ST, 40% in board exams; 45% for OBC Category)

Admission Procedure: It is compulsory for medical enthusiasts to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 12th grade who wish to get MBBS admission. All the Government, Private, Central and Deemed Universities will be based on NEET scores and the seats for all colleges / institutions / universities will be offered through counselling based on the eligibility Score/Rank, Preferences of colleges and seats available.

Admission to Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore is done through 20% seats for State Quota and balance 80% through All India Quota Counsellinf as Management/NRI Quota. Contact the college authority for Management quota seats to know admission procedures.

Infrastructure

Career Medical College Lucknow has a beautiful campus and stands strikingly as an architectural beauty, with its massive structures and aesthetic view. Also, the Medical College has highly motivated faculty and staff and a dedicated team of administration and management. The Institute all the teaching departments are well equipped with all modern amenities and also have a well-organized dissection hall with the latest audiovisual equipment.

There is lecture hall 4nos at College campus and one at Hospital with a capacity of 150each and all with adequate Audio Visual Facilities. An Auditorium has state-of-the-art, boasts of high-end equipment for sound and video with a seating capacity of 700 and is used for diverse activities such as seminars, Conferences, cultural activities, symposia, debates, movies shows/previews/etc. Besides, The Institute has more than 15 full-fledged Conference hall/ seminar rooms with projectors and internet connectivity.

Library

Career Medical College Lucknow has a Central Library is spread over an area of 17,000 sq ft, and houses rich collection of more than 60,000 books, 60 national and international journals and other references materials. The Library is centrally air-conditioned and automated subscribes with peaceful studies environment.
The library provides a common reading hall accommodating 150 students and a separate reading room for staff. In addition to this, the library made available through e-library to benefit from browsing access and downloading the developments in the field of medical science with 40 computers.

Facilities

Hostel

CIMSH has separate hostels facilities for boys and girls with a range of rooms and a variety of services that make living on campus comfortable, affordable and safe. Residents enjoy the support of committed and caring wardens. It has a total of seven hostels viz UG-boys and girls hostel, PG- boys and girls hostel, Interns Hostel for separate Male & Female, Resident Doctor Hostel and Nurses Hostel. All the rooms in the hostel building are furnished and have adequate facilities with separate mess and dining hall are available. The hostel and College Campus are under CCTV surveillance with security personnel patrolling and guarding to ensure the safety of students.

Canteen and Cafe

The Career Medical college campus has a canteen and a Coffee shop service is available which provides hygienic multi-cuisine awesome food throughout the day. Also, a leading café chain has set up to offer variety with sandwiches, pastries, and coffees etc.

Sports

Besides the Academic and in view of an all-round development made in the way of indoor, outdoor games and sports facilities for boys and girls. So that the students can ample with competitive and recreational opportunities, which it have large playing fields support and a wide variety of games such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, and Kho-Kho etc., In Addition, the college has a separate well equipped Gymnasium for Boys and Girls with Coaches.
