Infrastructure
Campus Area:
Adesh Institute of medical sciences Bathinda is spread over total area of 100 acres. The AIMSR Bathinda college infrastructure consists of a library, auditorium, examination halls, lecture halls, sports, hostel, transport, mess & canteens, etc. In that AIMSR Bathinda, academic buildings are spread over an area of 40 acres. A huge air-conditioned facility of auditorium cum 2 examination hall with the area of 500 sq.meters which can accommodate 500 student capacity. In this medical college, state & national level conferences, workshops and seminars are frequently conducted in the auditorium. It consists of 5 air-conditioned lecture theaters that is equipped with all kind of multimedia facilities that consists of 1200 seating capacity. It consists of 308 sq.mt. area of common room available for both boys and girls separately.
Library:
Adesh institute of medical sciences has a library facility with the area of 2408 sq.mt. The college campus owns a spacious centralized air-conditioned library with a ventilated and illuminated facility of 4 reading rooms with the seating capacity of 480 persons. The library consists of 13,502 books with more than 200 national & international journals. Also, the library subscribed 1,349 e-journals so that it can providing e-journal facilities through 44 internet nodes with a digital consortium. Computers, along with internet facilities are provided to both students and teaching staffs. The central college library opens from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm on all college working days.
Facilities
Hostel:
Adesh medical college hostels are situated inside the Bathinda campus. AIMSR hostel rooms are available on the basis of sharing. One hostel room can accommodate 3 persons. There are 144 rooms available for boys and the remaining 244 rooms are available for girls separately. The hostel can accommodate nearly 600 students. All students need to follow the college hostel rules as per the management.
Adesh medical college both hostels provide these facilities to the students like cupboards, separate study room with the connectivity of computers and internet, comfortable beds, bathrooms & attached toilet facilities. AIMSR Bathinda provides canteens/mess with dining halls, separate visitor rooms, R.O purified drinking water, 2 wheeler parking, etc. Both AIMSR boys & girls hostel rooms provides Indoor games like carrom & chess, recreation room with Television facility. All the students are required to stay in the hostel until their internship is completed.
Sports:
AIMSR Bathinda offers various kind of sports activities for improving the physical health of students. The outdoor sports activities available in the Adesh medical college Bathinda are cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball and football. Also, the college provides Indoor games like carrom, chess, table tennis, and gymnasium facilities.
Canteen/Mess:
Adesh medical college Bathinda offers canteen/mess facilities for the benefit of the students, staffs & the patients. There are 3 canteens & 1 mess is available on the AIMSR Bathinda campus with a separate dining hall facility for the staff, students & visitors. The AIMSR Bathinda’s hostel mess provides both vegetarian & non-vegetarian food to the students.
